Cute pic. Cute dog. That lose and loose reminds me of trying to get my one son to understand the difference between aloud and allowed. He kept spelling allowed as aloud. Then I asked him to spell allow – and he had no problem with that. We determined that he understood the meaning of both aloud and allowed, so I suggested that if he knew the difference, then he should always think of the present tense for allowed when trying to spell it, and, so far, it seems to be working.
My beloved old boxer Cujo, Teresa. He was really cute. Good move with your son, by the way (and so good to hear of a mum who bothers with that kind of thing!).
